And it begins...

The official moving has begun. We will be moving out of our rent house in Belton on Sunday, June 28 after church. Feel free to stop by, help or say hi, if you are able.

What an exciting and nerve-racking time! The "plan" is coming together and feels so real now. With tears, we say "see you later" and "we'll be in touch soon". This is the start of a 6-month transition until we move to Uganda, so please keep Adalyn in your prayers as she tries to comprehend these moves. The uncertainty and changes have already started to affect her in ways that she isn't sure about. Her little, cute self is trying to figure it all out and make sure she doesn't get left behind! We appreciate your ongoing prayers and encouragement as we continue this journey.

Please continue to pray for support partners. We are currently 82% funded but there are still conversations we didn't get the chance to have before we leave Belton area (as well as more to have in Colorado and beyond). We know God is still moving and we are thankful to have Him guiding and providing.

Speaking of support, we are still receiving support through Belton Church of Christ. Until we get to Boulder, CO we aren't able to set up the receiving system there. That should happen very soon and we will keep you posted. Thanks!

Our mailing address is obviously changing. For the next several months, if you want to send us anything, you can mail it to Leland's parent's house:
1418 Bradford Place, Mesquite, TX 75149

TEAM HIGHLIGHT

Ty Hayes is a former missionary's kid who lived in Kenya most of his childhood. He studied at Lubbock Christian University and Baylor University. He joined the Mbale Mission Team to start Tyler Academy for expat and national students in the Mbale community. God is doing big things with this school and we are excited that Adalyn will be part of it when she goes to kindergarten.

VISION STATEMENT

Because it is God's nature to make himself known to us, we are putting His Spirit back into flesh. The realization that some people's initial - and possibly only - contact with God is through their interaction with His disciples, we seek to intentionally BE Christ in relationships by loving, forgiving, and offering hope. As disciple-makers, we are focused on multiplying spiritually mature disciple-makers for continued growth throughout future generations.
