The time has come, chers amis, to present our Holiday Menu: We've brought back the old favorites AND are introducing some entirely new holiday confections!

Customer Favorites: A Fall Trio 
Not only are our Farmers Market Tomato, Butternut Squash, and French Onion soups delicious and quick for a weeknight supper, they're also fabulous for a Thanksgiving starter!
Chef's Suggestion: Reheat the Tomato or Squash soups with a dollop of mascarpone cheese and a drizzle of hazelnut oil, finish at the table with several crisply fried sage leaves. For French-Onion Pumpkins, simply hollow out as many miniature or "Pumpkin Pie" pumpkins as you have guests and use the emptied gourd as a soup bowl. Reheat the French-Onion soup on the stovetop and carefully ladle soup into the pumpkins until 3/4 full. Transfer the soup-filled pumpkins to a cookie sheet, float a slice of our Onion, Cheese and Bacon bread in the center and smother each pumpkin with Gruyère cheese. Broil in the oven until bubbly and melted!

The next time you stop in the Pâtisserie, be sure to congratulate Chef Sylvain on his upcoming visit to the James Beard House in NYC in January. The James Beard Foundation's mission is to celebrate, nurture, and honor America's diverse culinary heritage and provide a platform for visiting chefs in New York City by offering up their kitchens and dinging rooms to talent from across the country. Chef will be sharing the spotlight at the James Beard House with Chef Luca Annunziata of Charlotte's Passion8 and Chef Marc Pauvert from The Four Seasons Baltimore. This is a great honor and we're all extremely proud of Chef!
