In response to the attack on the people of Paris, Chef raised $170 throughout the month of November to donate to the Secours Populaire Française. How? Generous contributions from concerned Charlotteans and a special fundraiser featuring the aptly named Paris-Brest. The President of the Secours Popular Française, Julien Lauprêtre, issued a statement that the organization is in mourning "in the face of barbarism and hate" and called for "gestures of humanity."  Renaissance Pâtisserie echoes these sentiments and would like to thank the people of Charlotte for their concern, generosity and solidarity. We are proud to call Charlotte our home.
