Annual Volunteer Advisory Committee Meeting
Saturday, November 7, 10:00-noon
Once again all members who have a volunteer position with our Camera Club are invited to come to our annual meeting on November 7th. This is our opportunity to discuss any changes, to update each other on what the committees are doing, and to take a bold look toward our club’s future! The link for this Zoom meeting will be sent soon to all volunteers.
This meeting is also open to any club members who would like to attend. The Camera Club “belongs” to every paid member, and you are encouraged to join us! If you are interested, please send an email to Info@TheWoodlandsCameraClub.org, and we will send you the link.

miniSIG Nikon Z Mirrorless
Our "mini SIG" group of TWCC members using Nikon Z mirrorless cameras (Z50, Z6, Z7) have continued to meet on Zoom during the current restrictions.
Our 14 members join virtually as we discuss camera settings, lens choices, and other useful information. We will continue to meet virtually at least monthly to learn more about our specific cameras.
If you are shooting with a Nikon Z camera or know someone else who is, let us know. We’d love for you or your friend to join our group!

Mentor Program
Each month many TWCC members share their knowledge and time both informally and formally as “mentors” to other club members. It may be by e-mail, phone, or even in person at different locations around The Woodlands.
Learning from a friend or neighbor is one of the best experiences in a club like ours. To see who’s available to help you grow your photo skills visit

and click the link for mentors and their specialities.
To add yourself to this program, please contact Andy Howard at mentor@TheWoodlandsCameraClub.org

Our Purpose
is to bring together people interested in exploring the wonder of God’s creation through the lens of a camera. Members of all ages encourage one another and share their efforts to record nature, travels, people and memories. Anyone is welcome to join this club. We are here to teach one another through enjoyable activities and meetings, to make new friendships through a common interest, to support The Woodlands United Methodist Church through our photography, and to glorify God through it all.

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley,[a]
I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
23rd Psalm
