October Agenda: Editing YOUR photos
This month will be our last Post-Processing SIG for 2018. It's been a busy year! Once again this year we'll wrap up by repeating our popular meeting from last year: we'll be editing your photos live, while you and the other attendees help and critique (and ask questions).
To do that we will need your photos today -- but no later than this weekend. The sooner the better.
Just send us a couple photos (RAW if available) that we can use as samples for editing in Lightroom and/or Photoshop. Photos you have had problems editing, photos you haven't tried editing, and even photos you've already edited but want to see how we would go about it.
Use this link to Upload your photos. Then reply to this e-mail with a quick note about what you'd like to see us do with your photo(s). Or feel free to also upload a Word, Pages or PDF document with your explanation of what you want to achieve with your submitted images.
If we don't get your photos we won't have anything to do Monday night ... help us!
We'll also answer any questions you have about the techniques and skills we've discussed throughout the year.
Reminder: Club SIGs don't meet in November and December. Please join us Monday for our last session of 2018.
*Note: The Post-Processing SIG isn’t just for advanced users, it’s for “beginners” and “continuing learners” — every SIG will include a “How Do I Do That ..?” session to help those who regularly attend but still “glaze over” listening to the things discussed that “go over their head.”
Previous month handouts and links are available on the club website SIGs page:
As always, laptops are encouraged but not required. Bring yours if you want to follow along on some of the examples, or if you can share a little about one of your favorite post-processing processes.
