Board Game Evenings at Good Start Psychology

Good Start Psychology are pleased to offer small groups of NDIS participants the opportunity to attend our fun board game evenings!

Board games are enjoyed by people young and old. In addition to this enjoyment, children and young people can benefit in many therapeutic ways.
These benefits include developing social skills across many areas, such as forming and maintaining friendships, practicing teamwork, bonding over common interests, setting goals, as well as understanding the importance of patience and cooperation.

Playing board games also increases brain function. By learning to strategise and problem solve, participants will develop their critical thinking, logic and cognitive skills. They can challenge themselves in a nurturing environment and have opportunities to enhance their creativity and self-confidence.

For most participants, these board game evenings can be fully paid for with your NDIS funding.
