Good Start Psychology is Moving!

We are very excited to announce that we will soon be moving into our new, purpose built clinic!

The proposed dates above are a guide to the expected timeline. Further communication will be sent to all clients closer to the date.
Please bare with us while we make the transition to a new location. You may receive more emails and administrative communication than expected as we adapt our systems and update appointments.

For most clients, your appointment times and days will not change.

A small number of clients affected by a change to their appointment time have already been contacted or have spoken with their therapist.

We hope you are all as excited as we are, please feel free to join us at our Open Day to celebrate! Further information included in this newsletter.

Free Come’n’Try Session at Bumblebee Yoga

Bumblebee Yoga is holding a free Come’n’Try session for anyone interested in yoga on Sunday 18 April 2021.

Each week the Bumblebee Kids Yoga classes are filled with games, activities, yoga poses, fun challenges, and learning new things about your brains and bodies. They also practice mindfulness, meditation, and quiet time to relax and calm your bodies down.
There is absolutely no yoga experience required, and they will make sure that the fun exercises learnt can be done at home and school. Each session is 1 hour in length on a Sunday afternoon.

Yoga and mindfulness can help kids with regulating their emotions and behaviour. Learning breathing skills helps the body calm down after a big feeling so that you can make decisions that are sensible. They talk a lot about being resilient and kind to ourselves when you make mistakes so that you can keep learning. Yoga games are also fun and engaging, and a great whole-body exercise!

Kids of all abilities are welcome, they want this to be a safe and positive experience for everyone. Some NDIS plans have the option to cover costs for these types of activities. If you’d like to use this option, contact 0435 039 642 or email yogabumblebee@outlook.com.

For more information and all enquiries please visit the Bumblebee Yoga website
