Cooking Class with Chef Geoff Croteau

Geoff Croteau, Professional Chef and Connecticut local, has teamed up with CTYP to host an online cooking class! Over Zoom, you will make Rigatoni with Meatballs in a Vodka Sauce step by step from scratch while learning some basic cooking techniques along the way. If the Pandemic has got you craving restaurant food or if you are looking for another hands-on project to keep you sane, this is it! At the end, you will have an Instagram worthy dish made in your own kitchen.

Chef Croteau will be teaching up to 10 households at once, cooking along with the rest, and offering help and guidance. The cost is $30 + fees. Sign-ups close one week before the class, upon which ingredients and preparation instructions will be emailed to attendees. Attendees are responsible for providing their own ingredients, utensils, and cookware. A Zoom link will be provided an hour before the class starts. It is recommended attendees have a Zoom capable device in the kitchen while cooking for the best experience. The full recipe will be available to all attendees at the end of the class.

Chef Geoff is a Connecticut native who began his culinary journey after 10 years in the construction industry.  He's a graduate of the Lincoln Culinary Institute and has worked with Chef Bill Taibe at Jesup Hall in Westport, CT (now Don Memo Cantina), Chef Dan Kardos of Oar, and Oak in Stratford, CT, and Chef Michael Fox of Mikro Depot in Hamden, CT.
