New JPI HDHL Implementation Plan 2016-2018
It is with great enthusiasm that we launch the new Implementation Plan (IP) of the JPI HDHL which covers the period 2016-2018. The results of the JPI HDHL so far are significant: seven joint actions started in the last two years funding international research consortia in more than 18 projects. To work towards the implementation of the SRA of JPI HDHL, the Plan not only focuses on research funding activities, but also on alignment of research activities, sustainable cooperation between research institutes, industry and the wider stakeholder population, enhanced communication within and outside of the JPI and translating research into actual real-world impact. Roadmap for Action on Food Product Improvement

On 22-23 February 2016 the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sports organized a conference on Food Product Improvement: "Making the healthy choice easy". During the conference member states, industry (particularly the food industry) and NGOs worked towards a plan of action (roadmap) to take food product improvement to the next level. Read more

Final Symposium of DEDIPAC, the Knowledge Hub of the JPI HDHL

On October 12 and 13th 2016, the final DEDIPAC symposium will take place in Bonn, Germany. During the symposium an overview of the main results of DEDIPAC, the JPI HDHL Knowledge Hub on the Determinants of Diet & Physical Activity Choice, will be presented in different plenary and break-out sessions. JPI HDHL at the Food for Health Workshop of the 2016 CNS Conference on May 5, 2016 in Ottawa (CA)

The purpose of this workshop is to explore the possibilities of global partnerships to advance human health through food and agriculture-based strategies. Furthermore, the workshop provides a forum for attendees to exchange ideas how multi-stakeholder collaborations, based on food and nutrition, can benefit the health of Canadians and others around the world. Read more
