I would love to write something longer this week, but I have to keep it short, thanks to all the great stuff.

I hope everyone can find something to look forward to in all these announcements; I can't get over our coming choices.

We're looking forward to building some more positive things at the MM, some new features, some new voices, and let's have fun.

Figures Toy Company's retro figures are about to become dangerous! Over the past few weeks, #MMFTCNEWS has featured FTC's output of original creations, such as their new horror themed heads and costumes. What could go better with those creations? How about a whole line of weapons and accessories to supplement them with!

Guns, knives, axes, and even a hockey mask that could be used to customize a figure of a famous horror icon are currently all in production at FTC's factory! Each of these weapons will be compatible with the updated S Type retro figures and they'll all be made available on ClassicTVToys.com when released!

Aside from the variety of items FTC is busy creating, they've also got 100's of officially licensed retro figures in stock at http://www.figurestoycompany.com right now! Looking for a superhero to square off against one of those evil aliens or killer clowns? Then check out their huge assortment of DC Comics characters! Or maybe you want to build up your Scooby-Doo collection and make your own case for Mystery, inc. to solve! Whatever you prefer, FTC has something for collectors of all kinds, and they'll have more #MMFTCNEWS right here in this space next week!

Pod Stallions Mini Figures

Despite not having a booth at SDCC this year (maybe next year?), we have a special reveal. Presenting Pod Stallions Mini Figures. 3" tall representations of our show mascots Ron: SpacePimp and Satin Monster. Their look is inspired by the amazing Tomland Toys Mini Monsters and will come in various colours, even glow-in-the-dark variants. More designs in this series are coming from our pals at White Elephant Toyz.

These playas will be available at the PlaidStallions store  along with our officially licensed Tura Satana figure later in 2022,  so stay tuned for more updates.

Mego figures on the Jersey Shore. Kudos to Jerry for sharing this fantastic photo an old friend sent him
Turns out this friend's family owned a seaside stand in New Jersey and this is her grandfather who ran the stand when our favourite web-slinger came to visit. But just drink in those prizes, carded World's Greatest Superheroes, an Enterprize gift set, Micronauts, it's so overwhelmingly cool. As a kid, I would have spent my allowance until I was 40 at this stand.

Mego’s Next Wave Details

Toy-Ventures magazine is a return to the old-school print publication specifically for collectors. We cover toys and action figures from the 1960s to the 1990s in a full-colour comprehensive manner.

So if you miss the days of Toyfare and Tomarts, give Toy-Ventures a try.

Hey everyone, I'm happy to announce that issue 7 of Toy-Ventures is on the press as we speak. Unfortunately, there were a couple of unavoidable delays with this issue, but we wisely used that time to improve it. As a result, it's one of our most solid releases.

The jewel of this issue is Corey Le Chat's tribute to Marine Boy merchandise, I wasn't aware of this series when he pitched the article, and after seeing this piece, I'm glad we did this.

Other highlights include returning contributor Chris Franklin's piece on the Super Juniors, Steve Stovall starting an ongoing series about Hasbro Super Joe and Michael Grifka waxing poetically on Chewgum warriors.

I can happily say this issue truly represents the vision for the publication, with lots of vintage toys, many obscure subjects and different voices.

Issue 7 will begin shipping this week. I'll be very vocal when it is.
