SUPERMAN SERIES 2 REVEALED!

STOP THE PRESSES! This week's #MMFTCNEWS from Figures Toy Company could headline any edition of the Daily Planet! Figures Toy Company is pleased to reveal the lineup for Superman 8 Inch Retro Series 2, and it contains the staff of Metropolis' beloved newspaper!

Series 2 will feature the Man of Steel's alter ego and a few of his favorite friends, as Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and Perry White will be the four figures released in the line! Each figure will be highly detailed and clad in realistic clothing that is true to each characters look. These figures are the perfect compliment to the first Superman series, or any of the other DC Comics themed series Figures Toy Company has done, as they feature some of the most essential characters in Superman (and DC Comics) history.

Expected release for Superman 8 Inch Retro Series 2 is Summer 2015, which will be here faster than a speeding bullet! You won't have to wait long to add these Metropolis mainstays to your collection, and in the meantime you can keep up with all the breaking Figures Toy Company news on social media with the hashtag #MMFTCNEWS!

One of the more interesting discoveries in the Mego Museum interview with Vinny Baiera is this sketch and description of a Mego Superman Phone Booth concept based on the Star Trek Transporter play set.

Our own Scott Adams decided to break out the digital brushes and create an incredible simulaton of the phone booth. If only.....

Mego pitched KISS Bendable figures in 1979 and for some reason, they didn't happen. This makes me sad.
