STOP THE PRESSES! This week's #MMFTCNEWS from Figures Toy Company could headline any edition of the Daily Planet! Figures Toy Company is pleased to reveal the lineup for Superman 8 Inch Retro Series 2, and it contains the staff of Metropolis' beloved newspaper!

Series 2 will feature the Man of Steel's alter ego and a few of his favorite friends, as Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and Perry White will be the four figures released in the line! Each figure will be highly detailed and clad in realistic clothing that is true to each characters look. These figures are the perfect compliment to the first Superman series, or any of the other DC Comics themed series Figures Toy Company has done, as they feature some of the most essential characters in Superman (and DC Comics) history.

Expected release for Superman 8 Inch Retro Series 2 is Summer 2015, which will be here faster than a speeding bullet! You won't have to wait long to add these Metropolis mainstays to your collection, and in the meantime you can keep up with all the breaking Figures Toy Company news on social media with the hashtag #MMFTCNEWS!

What's new in Re-Mego!

Figures Toy Company had a lot of folks saying "Yee-Haw!" when they announced Pre-Orders for the second wave of Dukes of Hazzard figures in 8" and 12" scale. Check them out here.

Speaking of Pre-Orders the new Justice League of America series is also up for grabs, FTC released some dynamic images of the figures and their terrific card backs as well. Check them out here.

If that wasn't enough,we're gettng new waves of heroes with packaging inspired by Kresge cards of yore including new characters such as Dr Sivana, the Scarecrow, Harley Quinn and Mary Marvel! More Details here.

A glimpse of the SMASHING packaging for the 18 inch heroes has us wondering where we're going to put all this stuff.

A complete set of Mego Buck Rogers figures is up for grabs with what (IMHO) seems like a more than fair price.

Find out what it's worth by accessing our growing databse of completed Mego and 70s toy auction. We call it the Going Rate

Mailer box Batman brings bucks (say that five times fast)

If you`ve ever wondered what somebody would pay for an empty Iron Man card, well the answer might surprise you.

Speaking of Lincoln Monsters (see next door) this sweet set of loose Monsters ended yesterday and they are still as popular as ever.

The Unproduced Mego Superman Phone Booth Play set

One of the more interesting discoveries in the Mego Museum interview with Vinny Baiera is this sketch and description of a Mego Superman Phone Booth concept based on the Star Trek Transporter play set.

Our own Scott Adams decided to break out the digital brushes and create an incredible simulaton of the phone booth. If only.....

Happening on the Forum:

Dwayne has created this amazing portrait of Electric Company Spider-Man for the actor's upcoming signing.

We`re pretty big fans of The Flash over at the Museum, this past week really blew us away. WARNING SPOILERS.

If you are thinking about using the Ebay Global Shipping program, here is what people on the other end think about it (Hint, it`s opposite of good thoughts)

Mego Prototype of the Week

Mego pitched KISS Bendable figures in 1979 and for some reason, they didn't happen. This makes me sad.
See more Mego Kiss stuff at the Museum KISS Galleries.
