Nature Walk in Woodlawn Park 


 
Friday, April 14, 10 to 11 a.m., rain or shine!  Bring your binoculars, bird i.d books, questions and your pets on leash and take a slow walk around Woodlawn Park.  It is a sloping walk but not too steep with a circuit of about one mile.  This walk is led by local Woodlawn historian, amateur naturalist/birder and North Star Village Planner Anjala Ehelebe.  Meet at the Woodlawn Park sign on NE Dekum Street at approximately NE 9th and NE Dekum.  Easy and frequent bus access.  Starts PROMPTLY at 10 a.m.

Murder, Mayhem & Melodrama; 
free community play reading group

 
 
Come and participate in an informal reading of mystery and melodrama plays.  No acting skills are needed --think of it as a gathering around the kitchen table or fireplace for a few hours of reading plays (no rehearsals or memorizing needed!) with a few other folks.

When: Sunday, April 16, 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Kenton Library Community Room

Woodlawn Triangle Criminal History Tour
 


 
Friday, April 21, 10 to 11 a.m., rain or shine!  Learn the secret criminal histories of some of the more prominent business buildings in the Triangle!  Led by Woodlawn Historian Anjala Ehelebe.  Meet in front of Good Neighbor Pizza, 800 NE Dekum Street.  Tour leaves PROMPTLY at 10 a.m.  Mostly flat walking.  The tour is one hour long.
Wednesday, April 26 - Eat at St. Johns Burgerville and Help North Star Village!
 
Come and enjoy a meal among North Star friends.  The St. Johns - North Star Village will receive 10% of the St. Johns Burgerville's proceeds between 5 and 8 p.m. on Wednesday April 26th (new date, update your calendars).   Come and support North Star Village and enjoy fun, food and friendship!  

St. John's Burgerville is at 8671 N. Ivanhoe Street, 97203.
