Who Will North Star Village Serve?

All of the neighborhoods that North Star Village will serve when it opens late in 2017 are pictured on the map below. A Village is not a place - it's a plan for living independently in the home or apartment you love with a little help from trained and screened volunteers.

Volunteer Anjala Ehelebe

Anjala Ehelebe presently serves as the chair of the North Star Village Planning Team. According to Anji, “I heard about Virtual Villages, Beacon Hill Village in particular, over 10 years ago and have longed to have one open in my neighborhood. Now I have the thrilling opportunity to help open a village that will live after me and help hundreds of people be safer and happier in their dwellings.”

If you’d also like to help launch North Star Village, please come to an informational meeting (dates above) and learn more about North Star Village and how you can help. If you’ve already attended an informational meeting and are ready to volunteer, contact 503-793-8518 or infonorthstar@comcast.net.
