Rootball keeps you up to date on all things Pando Populus. Here’s the latest.
We’re pulling together the ROADTRIP dream team – and need your help!

Southland justice and peace legend Ed Bacon and his wife Hope are the most recent to confirm that they'll be on the ROADTRIP TO PANDO bus Sept. 21-24. Read about Ed and why he’s making the trip below.

Ed joins other living legends in design, writing, environmentalism, and Earth-oriented faith.

Together, they’ll be traveling with one scientist, one rancher, one land use specialist, two who are focused on SoCal tree canopy preservation, three architects working at the intersection with the social good, one philosophical theologian, one professional storyteller, one expert on digital age media, one nationally-known interfaith community leader, three designers, two producers, and two chefs.

Can’t make it yourself but want it to be a huge success? You can help:

1. Let us know who we are missing. Help us complete the dream team we need to save Pando’s life by suggesting categories of talent or specific people who should be with us on the bus. Email Amy Goldberg, producer of ROADTRIP to PANDO, with your suggestions.

2. Sponsor a ticket in one of the categories you suggest, or for one of the following:

- Southland students who have chosen an environmental or social justice career path.
- Young documentary filmmakers who can help us tell the Pando story while we’re on the road and once we return back to LA.
- Makers across disciplines who are skilled at the art of small-bet development for large-scale impact.
- Urban community and civic leaders who are working at the nexus of change.
Email Amy Goldberg, ROADTRIP producer, with your sponsorship suggestions. Sponsors will be identified on ROADTRIP materials with “made possible by...” credit and “special thanks.”

Buy your own ROADTRIP TO PANDO ticket now, or send a check directly to Pando Populus at the address at the bottom of this newsletter.
