GAVIN HARRISON  POETRY & TEACHINGS
AUGUST 2015 NEWSLETTER

"The Buddha encouraged us to think of the good things done for us by our parents, by our teachers, friends, whomever; and to do this intentionally, to cultivate gratitude, rather than just letting it happen accidentally."
Ajahn Sumedho

Aloha dear friends,
I returned home from the Radical Forgiveness retreat this last weekend feeling deeply grateful for our evolving community here on the Big Island — always vulnerable, real, sincere and committed. We have been gathering for over 18 years now. And with each gathering we deepen our refuge in silence, community, empathy and self-honesty. Namaste Estates, our retreat home in Puna is a sanctuary of beauty and inpiration. Thank you Bea and Tom Catton for hosting us, and mahalo to our retreat manager Linda Rayner.

The Waimea Meditation Group meets this Sunday at Rose Cottage (and not the Waimea Events Salon). Thank you Barrie Rose and Joanna Tilbury for graciously and generously hosting us every month.

Please do not plan to arrive late or leave early for any events. And please remember to check the website for schedule and venue changes.

I look forward to the possibility of being together this month.
Meke aloha pauole a hui hou
Love, always,
Gavin
