The big game of the weekend is the Junior B Championship Final where the Cuala 3rd's take on Realt Dearg for a second successive Championship title.  Throw in is at O'Toole Park at 3 pm.

Big weekend for our Ladies Minor Teams as well.  The B's take on Na Fianna at Meadowvale on Saturday at 4-30 in the Division 6 championship Final.  The A's are at Parnell's at 3 pm also on Saturday for the Division One Shield Semi Final.

Good luck to all our teams in action across the weekend and please do try to support them.  It makes a big difference.

Hard luck to the Senior Footballers who lost out to Thomas Davis in Sunday’s Dublin SFC 2 Championship semi-final in Parnell Pk. Better news for our Juniors who defeated Garda GAA to reach the final of the Junior 3 Championship. Many thanks to our football sponsor Royal Marine Hotel

Despite losing narrowly to Ballyboden our Minor A Hurling squad qualified for the A championship semi final and will face Kilmacud Crokes in 2 weeks. Our Minor B hurlers beat St Brigids B to come through their group unbeaten and qualify for the knockout stages of the Minor C Hurling championship

THE CUALA COMMUNITY HUB

There is a meeting in the club on Monday 22nd at 7.30pm  to consider the feedback and draft a design specification for our facilities at Hyde Road

We would encourage players, parents, mentors, younger members, and everyone else with an interest in the future of the club to attend this meeting - please send an email to cormacot1@gmail.com if you intend to join so that the right location for the meeting can be booked based upon the expected number of attendees.

THE CUALA CHOIR

The Choir is back after a solid start pre-summer.  There are all sorts of ambitious plans for the group who will be back at Glasthule Parish Hall this Sunday, October 17th at 7-30.

We've been hearing humming and whistling of Coldplay around the place.

Cuala Kids on Camera

A whole heap of Cuala boys and girls starred in C.L.U.B. on TG4 earlier this afternoon.

Lots of caint agus craic and definitely some stars of the screen as well as the pitches in years to come.

Check out the show on Seinnteoir TG4 anseo

World Records

As if that wasn't enough lots of Cuala boys and girls were involved in setting a new World Record at Coláiste Eoin and Coláiste Íosagáin during the week.

942 players lined out for a game of hurling / camogie that went on for around six hours, and Ruari Sheanon was interviewed on the RTÉ Kids News programme as well.

We'll be needing agents around here before too long.

Páirc an Chrocaigh

Beidh cailíní Cuala i Scoil Lorcáin ag imirt peile i bPáirc an Chrócaigh i gceann seachtaine. Go n-éirí go geal leo go léir.

Gumshields

There is a special deal on for gumshields with our friends at the Specialist Orthodontic Practice in Glenageary.  Quote Cuala GAA and you’ll get a special deal on a custom fit.  And remember no gumshields no train, no play so never let your boys and girls go training or to matches without them...

Youth Leaders

Congratulations to the 25 Cuala members who graduated from NUIG with Certificates in Youth Leadership and Community Action on Saturday having completed The Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Programme. As part of the programme, course participants carried out 4000 hours of voluntary community work. The programme will not run this year but hopefully it will return in autumn 2019.

Great fun in the Hall last weekend with our All Ireland Winners and their trophies.
