Good luck to our Senior Footballers who are in action this Sunday with a massive AFL1 League Semi Final against St Vincents.  The action gets underway at 11 AM over at their Marino HQ.

***

Good luck also to our Adult Ladies Footballers who are out west at Clondalkin for a key game that would secure the Division 2 Title and ensure playing at the highest level next season.

Throw in at Somerton Park is at 1400 and it would be great to great a strong support for both these matches on the road.

***

Congratulations to the 3rd Footballers who landed the All County Junior 3 Championship last Sunday at a rain-soaked O'Toole Park. They overcame Na Fianna 1-11 to 0-08 to complete a County Championship Double for our 3rd teams in both Football and Hurling

***

The 3rd Hurlers travelled down to Limerick last Sunday for a game against Wexford's Oylegate Glenbrien.  It was part of a national competition for Junior B winners in the Counties.  Unfortunately, the lads went down by 2 points but what a year they've had with Championship and promotion to Division 4.

***

Good luck to the Minor Camogie team who travel to Good Counsel in their Championship on Sunday Morning after the game was rearranged from last week.

Winning Finishes

Cuala's U15B's won the Championship Shield D Final on Sunday with a 3-6 to 2-8 win over St. Judes.

Hard luck to the U16 footballers who lost their Division 1 Shield semi-final to Lucan. End of an era for the lads who’ve been together for 10 years.

After securing their place in Division 1 hurling prior to this week, Cuala U13 Football As won against Raheny in a thrilling 11-11 to 6-11 encounter on Saturday played in IADT.

That put them in joint 2nd at the end of the league in Division 2. What a great start to their more competitive time in Cuala

Spirit of the Tournament

Well done to Charlie O'C from the 2007 Boys who was presented with the 'Spirit of the Tournament' Award for his energy and never give up attitude playing in the eight-team Kevin's Hurling tournament at Dolphins Barn last Saturday.

We are doubling up this week with images of our Killer B's at U15 who won their D Championship Final and the Junior Footballers who became County Champions under first time management team of Seanie McMahon and Paul Cahill whose proud Dad was happy to be behind the camera on this occasion.

The number of minutes according to Google Maps that it would take to get from St Vincents to Castleknock if you wanted to support both our Senior teams in their key games this week.  Perfect timing
Training on the All Weather can be a bit tough to keep the kids fired up.  Switching a straightforward shooting drill into a crossbar challenge gets them going and increases their control and accuracy in shooting.
