Before we get into the heater shelter of this week’s action we have a small request.  Our Facilities team are looking to get as wide a feedback as possible before we finalise what we want to do with the Cuala Hall, Bar and Community Centre.

It only takes a minute but it would be much appreciated.

*** Well done to our latest County Champions the Adult Camogie First Team who beat Castleknock at The National Sports Campus last weekend.

*** The girls are straight into Leinster Championship action this Sunday playing against the Champions of Laois.  It’s at 2 PM at Parnell GAA Club in Coolock which will give you plenty of time to get to...

*** The Adult Hurlers are in action this Sunday against (sometimes) fierce local rivals Kilmacud Crokes. It’s Matt Kenny vs Anthony Daly on the sideline and a clash that has had us on the edge of our seats for the last two years and more besides.  We can be the difference.  Please do what you can to be there to support the Boys in Red.  The throw in is 4 PM at Parnell Park. This is our club, these are our flag bearers. Come on you Boys in Red.

*** Great job last week from our Senior and Junior Footballers who won their Championship Quarter Finals against Naomh Mearnog and St Sylvesters last weekend.  They will be in action next weekend in their Semi Finals. Hard luck to the Intermediate team who went down in Extra Time in their QF

*** Our second, third and fourth hurling teams are in Semi Final action this weekend as well.  It’s an incredible achievement for the club to have so many teams playing at such advanced stages of the Championship.  We take on Clontarf in the Intermediate Championship at 4:30 PM on Saturday at O’Toole Park.  The Young Guns in Junior B Championship take on Craobh Chiaran at Shanganagh on Sunday Morning at 11 AM.  Then the slightly less young warriors on our 4th team at Junior E level face Na Fianna at Mobhi Road at 3 PM on Sunday.

*** Truly this is a weekend to savour and as if that wasn’t enough we have all three Minor Football teams in Championship action as well.  A’s are away to Whitehall, B’’s at home at Hyde Road to St Peters and C’s away to St Pat’s Palmerstown, all at 11 AM on Sunday.

No All Ireland's to celebrate this week but a special Congratulations to Martha Byrne who has been nominated for a Ladies Football All-Star.  The winner will be named at a big night out in early December.

To some it's the hall, to some it's the bar, to some it's where they meet, to some it's where the Christmas Party is held up to a certain age.

It's all those things and more but what do you think it should be?  The Cuala Facilities team, as part of our strategic plan, are looking to get as many views as possible via a short response form on the website.

It's our club and this is a chance to make the most of what we have.  Please take two minutes to let us know.  You know the drill in a democracy it's so much better to have your say before than to give out after...

There will also be information boards on mental health and concussion.

Importasnt stuff and all there between 9 and 12.  Worth a drop by if you are around.

There is a special deal on for gumshields with our friends at the Specialist Orthodontic Practice in Glenageary.  Quote Cuala GAA and you’ll get a special deal on a custom fit.  And remember no gumshields no train, no play so never let your boys and girls go training or to matches without them...
