ARTWORKS

Bundanon will be haunted by some of Australia’s best artists during this year’s Siteworks. The homestead will be inhabited by the works of Anne Ferran and Christian Thompson, while Nigel Helyer will take possession of Arthur Boyd’s studio. There will be artists materialising to meet you on a lonely country road, while others will be lurking by bridges, lakes, groves and fields. Don’t be scared – all they want is your attention.

CONVERSATION

This year’s Siteworks is all about the hidden – the things that lie beneath, or within, or outside of our normal view. From myths of Indigenous culture, to lives beyond death, to ghost hunters and writers. The ABC’s Robbie Buck will lead us through this shrouded territory.

PLAN YOUR TRIP

A scenic 2.5 hour drive from Sydney or Canberra, the road trip to Bundanon is filled with rolling green hills or ocean vistas. Both paths are dotted with villages and towns for rest stops.

Gates open at midday. After setting up your campsite, fill your day with art, food and a walk, or partake in some of the family activities in the afternoon. A Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony will kick off the Conversations in the afternoon, running until dusk. Then the bar opens and the after dark activities begin! Performances, projections, music and storytelling late into the night.
CAMPING
Don’t go home early and miss out - stay at Bundanon! On site camping is available at $10 per person.
FOOD + DRINK
The best local caterers will keep you well fed throughout the day and night. A full bar will also be on site.
