(LE) POISSON ROUGE| NEW YORK

(Le) Poisson Rouge is our dynamic, state-of-the-art music venue + event space in the heart of Greenwich Village. Located on Bleecker Street at the site of the historic Village Gate, LPR serves up one-part live music venue, one-part art gallery, and 100% location.

Founded by musicians for music and art enthusiasts, the venue offers clients top-of-the-line amenities, acoustics, and in-house equipment. The main space, with a flexible stage configuration, seats 250 guests or up to 700 standing. The adjacent Gallery Bar functions as an art gallery and secondary bar, and holds up to 138 standing. As a fully soundproofed space, the Gallery Bar offers clients a separate and private event space away from the main stage.

UBISOFT MARIO + RABBID EVENT | 201 MULBERRY

The team at Fremont Blue Events transformed 201 Mulberry into Ubisoft 's Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle last week. Press and Influencers were invited to learn about the new game and take part in the new gameplay experience. The main entrance was transformed into a Mario + Rabbids World, featuring everyone’s favorite characters and an interactive set. The lower level of the space was used as a gaming area, equipped with personal TVs and a photo booth to fully immerse into the game.

RED BULL BC ONE CYPHER | THE BOWERY BALLROOM

It was a monumental occasion, the 40th Anniversary of Rock Steady, the legendary breakdancing crew and Red Bull's BC One New York Cypher. The ceremonious occasion at The Bowery Ballroom was reigned over by none other than DJ Kaz with a special guest performance by Fat Joe.

The winner of the Cypher, "Pop" from Queens, goes on to Amsterdam to compete in the Last Chance Cypher, for a shot at the BC One World Finals. Check out the exciting final round with all the back-bending, head-standing moves Gravity will allow, followed by the crowning moment when breakdancing icon Crazy Legs, announces the winner!

MIXING IT UP

ALEX MERRELL | TRAVEL + LEISURE

Alex Merrell performed at an Travel & Leisure (World's Best) event this week in Manhattan. Attendees were treated to a distinctive mix by Alex throughout the evening in the one of a kind Samsung 837 Glass Studio Space, located in Meatpacking District.

ELLE DEE | PRIVATE EVENT

Elle Dee performed at a private event for One Management' s CEO, Scott Lipps, at the Public hotel in the Lower East Side. Elle played "a fun house and disco set" to bring guests to the dance floor and celebrate a new chapter for the host. She matched the high energy VIP crowd song for song, throughout the night. ELLE DEE | Q&A

Elle Dee, a long time music lover and Kagency DJ, reflects on her music career beginnings and muses on her career highlights and next steps. Catch up with her weekly at her new Monday night residency at Et Al. in the Lower East Side. Learn more about Elle below and reach out for your next corporate event!

What is your background and what inspired you to become a DJ?
My love of music began when I was 12 years old and I started playing drums. I have been in a few bands since then, but I have always been a DJ at heart. I remember being 15 years old playing records at my friends' parties - It has always been something I was in to.

What's your go-to song guaranteed to get a crowd on the dance floor?
I don't believe in a "go-to" song. Every event is about telling a story and taking people on a journey with you. Each event is different and I try to tell a new tale each time.

Where is the most unusual place you've performed?
Madison Square Garden was an unexpected one!

What three words would you use to describe your music style?
Music to Dance

Aside from creating music, what are your other passions?
Books and movies are other interests, but music is really it for me. It takes 97 percent of my time and I wouldn't have it any other way.

What is next for your career?
Like Bowie said... "I don't know where I'm going from here, but I promise it won't be boring."
