After 30-years in business as a premier Manhattan photography studio, Michelson Studio will open its new sound stage in upstate New York this December. Located 65 miles north of Manhattan, in Middletown, NY, Michelson Studio II is sprawling complex that accommodates the state's need for large sound stages.

Situated on 12-acres in a former train station terminus, the main stage offers 60,000 SF (with 32,000 SF of column-free space), plus 60 FT ceilings, an adjacent 25,000 SF prep area, and an additional 4,000 SF of second floor office space with a VIP lounge that overlooks the stage. The venue also features two 25-ton motorized cranes, seven roll up doors and two loading docks. Polished concrete floors carry a rating of 4,000 psi and an enclosed outdoor patio is perfect for crew meals.

The nearby town of Middletown offers clients all the conveniences and accommodations of a city, against the bucolic backdrop of the Lower Hudson River Valley. The luxury hotel and spa, Glenmere Mansion, is located 10 miles west and offers private European-style accommodations, two exceptional restaurants and unparalleled services for discerning talent.

Jose Cuervo | The Garage

"Step up to the mic and channel your inner Rock Star."

Jose Cuervo, in coordination with The Rolling Stones, invite you to re-live the band's famed 1972 tour when they were, as described by Keith Richards himself, "a pirate nation" fueled by Tequila Sunrises, ahem, among other things... The Karaoke event at The Garage was the first in a series that will take place this year, claiming the hashtag, #cuervosunrisetour

Party goers, celebrities and influencers alike enjoyed singing some of The Rolling Stones greatest hits, among other artists, all under the spell of the disco ball. Any courage needed was amply provided by Jose Cuervo. The VIP Karaoke experience was expertly produced by our friends at Team Epiphany, who clearly know how to party.

Keep an eye out for the Jose Cuervo ad coming to your preferred media portal soon. Produced by McCann, the ad presents a hypothetical, but no less colorful scene, nostalgic of the band, their groupies and hangers-on of the '72 Tour, getting juiced on Tequila Sunrises. It will have you humming, "Miss You" for days.

Le Poisson Rouge's expandable stage provided ample room for performances and the strategically placed columns offered optimal sight lines for attendees. The event was live streamed using LPR's in-house A/V capabilities to extend the organization's mission and message beyond the walls of the iconic Bleecker Street venue.

ROLI x Blend | Cielo

ROLI x Blend took over Cielo for a night of music technology to remember. ROLI launched its revolutionary new keyboard called the Seaboard RISE, a multi-platform synthesiser featuring five dimensions of touch. Who better to host the event than Cielo, our legendary electronic music venue in the heart of the Meatpacking District? Cielo's famed backdrop of intelligent wall lights that sync to the beat of the music and its iconic disco balls set the stage for the futuristic product. Seaboard pros demonstrated the innovative keyboard to a crowd of musicians and music enthusiasts, followed by remarks by CEO, Roland Lamb and a musical performance. Nick Wood from The Professionals, set up three large plasma screens behind the performers to integrate video into the experience.

The Kagency's bi-costal beauty, DJ Alex Merrell never ceases to amaze us. Catch up with her in her most recent interview with TKEES here. Alex was chosen by the lifestyle brand as an inspirational visionary. In the interview she shares her entrepreneurial experience as a globetrotting DJ, turned app developer, and gives us a glimpse into her new social travel app, TREC - coming to smartphones everywhere this winter. As for the genesis of the app, Alex tells TKEES:

"I was in Hong Kong twice in 2013 for gigs and both times, having never been to Asia previously, I ran into friends. It made me wonder how many of these connections I was missing while traveling. I’d find myself discovering contacts were in the same city as me on Instagram but it seemed like an antiquated way of connecting, so I’ve spent the past 18 months making the app I need most on my phone. We also have a feature that allows users to create city guides that can be viewed by their friends, which personalizes exploring a new place in a way that a generic travel guide can’t. I want to participate in a movement to create technology that actually connects us face to face in places we would have missed each other, rather than isolating us with solitary screen experiences."
