FACEBOOK // 163 MERCER

Military Mama Network unveiled its Holiday Pop-Up Shop at 580 Broadway last week. In collaboration with the network's host, Facebook, shoppers were invited to participate in an immersive giving experience, sample cookies and hot chocolate, and make a donation to the group. You have likely seen the group's prolific TV ad, with a heartfelt storyline of the group sharing holiday cheer with a military family who's mother is deployed. Founded by Geriann Wiesbrook, the Military Mama Network serves to connect military moms, both in and out of service, with one another in a peer to peer support format. It started as five friends and has grown to a community of over 16,000 military moms and other family members. Every day, 24/7, they talk and connect over the unique concerns of military family life, offering advice and emotional support whenever needed. Donations can be made through the group's Facebook group.

HEATHER ROONEY // 393 NYC

Artist and YouTube sensation Heather Rooney hosted her first art show in SoHo at the gallery 393 NYC. The meticulous photorealist presented 24 original works in various styles, including some of her celebrity and fantasy portraits popularized on her YouTube channel—with over 1.4 million subscribers. Self-taught, Heather's primary medium is pencil, using graphite and colored pencils to create the softness, shadows and intricacy of hands and facial features with remarkable realism. The main gallery was reserved for a dramatic 360-degree time lapse video montage documenting her often 100 hours spent per piece. Prominently displayed on the gallery’s focal wall was a stunning black and white drawing of elephants, which represented over 300 hours of artistry. A line of fans quickly formed and lasted throughout the show. Heather greeted each one, signed autographs and posed for selfies. Check out her video portfolio on YouTube.

EBAY // 163 MERCER
eBay transformed the one-of-a-kind 163 Mercer into a holiday escape room, where the public was invited to experience the best of Black Friday deals. The 4,400 SF white-walled venue was the perfect backdrop to eBay's "Zen Room," with plenty of #HolidayChill opportunities, such as challenges and puzzles throughout the multi-room installation. To top it off, the venue offers an unparalleled storefront branding opportunity on this luxury block in SoHo.
MIXING IT UP
MARI MALEK // BVLGARI
Mari Malek had the pleasure of curating the music for Bvlgari's holiday event celebrating its 10-year collaboration with Save The Children and their Give Hope initiative. This was on-brand for Mari, Kagency's super model DJ and philanthropist, who donates a large portion of her DJ proceeds to her own charity, Stand For Education. For Bvlgari, Mari played a mix of upbeat music, including classics, deep house, old and new hits and a hint of holiday.
