Station 32, formerly Cafe Rouge, is the original famed ballroom of the Hotel Pennsylvania. Back in circulation after a longterm rental, Cafe Rouge is steeped in history. Home to musical legends, including Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Glenn Miller in the 1930's and 40's, it was a frequent celebrity hangout for Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. to name a few.
Renamed Station 32, for its location on 32nd Street and proximity to Penn Station, the revitalized event space is no longer considered part of the hotel and maintains a separate address and entrance at 145 West 32nd Street. This ground floor venue offers a total usable square footage of 14,000 SF, of which, 8,000 SF is column-free. The additional square footage includes a Driveway Annex ideal for a dramatic entrance, plus two Auxiliary Spaces adjacent to the main space.
With close proximity to Madison Square Garden, as well as area hotels and mass transit, Station 32 is perfect for a host of corporate and social events looking for a large ground floor foot print and great sight lines.
