In addition to the normal business of an AGM, join us as we celebrate the work of our volunteers and consider our priorities for the future.
The event will include:
- The chance to take part in workshops - where we will be seeking your views on these priorities and how we can support Newark & Sherwood groups going forward
- Opportunities for networking
- The option to take a tour of Castle House - if you haven't visited us here before
- A light lunch - to which we will be inviting Council staff and members, so let us know if you would like to bring your organisation's information stand.
Let us know...
...if you or your group will be represented at the event by emailing jbritten@nandscvs.org or phoning 01636 679539. This will help with catering arrangements as a light lunch will be served following the meeting at 12:00 noon.

Join NCVO
NCVO have a diverse community of over 13,000 member organisations – a third of the voluntary sector workforce in England. They help them thrive by providing expert support and advice, by saving them time and money, and by keeping them up to date with the news that affects them. Membership is free if your charity's annual turnover is less than £30,000.
Find out more about NCVO membership.
Volunteers from overseas
The rules about this can be complex and so NCVO have produced some guidelines to help you find your way.
There are no restrictions on volunteering for people from within the EU/European Economic Activity (EEA) area but for those from outside the EU/EEA, there are restrictions based on what type of visa they are travelling on.
For even more volunteering opportunities, see our online database.
