Hi everyone!

Just a reminder that today is Give Miami Day! According to the website...

"Give Miami Day is one of the nation's largest annual giving events. The 24-hour online giving campaign makes it easy for everyone to become a philanthropist and champion their favorite causes. This year, we will ignite Greater Miami on November 21st. Throughout the day, individuals may explore online profiles of hundreds of nonprofits serving Miami-Dade County and make a charitable donation. Since 2012, Give Miami Day has raised more than $47 million.

The Miami Foundation hosts Give Miami Day as part of our mission to increase local philanthropy and provide community engagement opportunities for every Miamian. The Foundation partners with donors to champion their causes and improve local quality of life. Since 1967, we've done this by taking leadership on civic issues, investing in our community and nurturing philanthropy. Learn more at"

We as the South Florida National Parks Camera Club enjoy an included membership to the National Parks Association (formerly Everglades Association). The FNPA are a part of Give Miami Day this year, and we are happy to promote it!

So please, give if you can, and let's help out the FNPA! See below for information on what YOUR contribution does for the FNPA...

Since its inception in 1951, the Florida National Parks Association (FNPA) has provided more than 4.1 million dollars in aid to the National Park Service areas of South Florida.

The FNPA operates under Congressional authorities as the official private, non-profit partner supporting educational, interpretive, and historical and scientific research responsibilities of Biscayne, Dry Tortugas, and Everglades National Parks, and Big Cypress National Preserve.
