Welcome Ministry
As you have heard for a number of months, a team of Annunciation members have been working on a new process to Welcome guests and potential new members. The objective is to help new people get connected with our Annunciation family and to help them develop friendships within the community. We have been greeting people in the Narthex after Liturgy for a while now and we are ready to take the next step.

Starting on Sunday, January 15th, we will have a special table at Coffee Hour that will be a place for newer members and guests to gather to get to know people and to learn more about Annunciation. The table will have a blue tablecloth so that it will "stand out in the crowd". We have recruited a number of volunteers who will take turns being at the table to greet our guests and to provide them with information. We will also make sure that we have their contact information so that we can stay in touch with them and help them get involved.

Here's how you can help:
If you are talking with a new person or guest, ask if they have visited the Welcome table. If not, invite them to go over with you so that you can introduce them to our Welcome team volunteers who can get their contact information and give them information.
  • If you are interested in meeting new people, head on over to the Welcome table yourself and jump right in.
  • If you are interested in joining our team to help new people build relationships at Annunciation, let the person at the Welcome table know of your interest and we'll get you involved.
Thank you in advance for your support and participation!

Stewardship
We are building a wonderful display of action pledges that our members are pledging to do in 2017 to strengthen our Church and our Faith! Keep those pledges coming.
If you have not yet submitted a financial pledge for the year, it is also very important to get that in to the Church office. Pledge cards and envelopes are available on the table in the west hallway. If you need a pledge card sent to you, please contact Rick Chambers by email to
 rick@rdcsolutionskc.com.
