Will you be joining us tomorrow (Sunday 14th April) for Bach's Easter Masterpiece St Matthew Passion?

April 14th, Christ Church, Skipton, 7.00pm

Only 1 day to go until our performance of Bach's Easter masterpiece St Matthew Passion at Christ Church in Skipton.

Unfortunately Richard Rowe is unable to attend due to illness, but we are delighted to welcome acclaimed English tenor Nicholas Watts. Nicholas has performed major operatic roles at the Royal Opera House, English National Opera and Opera North, and was a soloist on Les Arts Florissants'  2007 Jardin des Voix tour which included performances in some of Europe's most prestigious concert halls and opera houses, as well as the Lincoln Center in New York.

He joins our stellar line up for the evening which includes Australian bass Dean Robinson, soprano Amy Freston, mezzo soprano Joanna Harries, tenor Stephen Anthony Brown and bass Ross McInroy, as well as Leed's premier choir The Clothworkers Consort of Leeds and the professional musicians from our Skipton Camerata.

The ensemble will be conducted by Ben Crick, Skipton Camerata’s conductor and artistic director.
