LuceMajicus is the newest of the Blackpool attractions - an immersive and interactive experience, perfect for families and captivating for any age. This attraction is unique in how it unites the latest technology with the Chinese tradition of lantern craft to create an illuminating walk-through attraction and is truly an experience not to be missed.

Walk through the illuminated garden area, see the live reptiles, the aviary of beautiful birds and then the aquarium of tropical fish. Meet with Luce the Lizard, an Argus Monitor, more than a metre long now but probably growing considerably longer. The Chinese area is wondrous, including the Chinese First Emperor and his lions, the dragons, the twelve Chinese Zodiac signs and the iconic Terracotta Warriors. In addition, there is yet another area that every visitor will be delighted to see, but you’ll have to visit to find out what it is.

LuceMajicus is a great new attraction for families with young children with space for learning and discovery. The attraction is located on Bond Street in South Shore.

Due to a change in our Winter maintenance schedule, we are pleased to confirm details of our November and December opening dates and times: In addition to the previously advertised November weekends, we will now also be open every weekend in *December and also from 27th - 31st December and then 2nd - 6th January (updated calendar attached for you) 

Sandcastle Waterpark will then be closed from January 7th – February 15th (and not open at weekends as previously advertised) to allow essential and previously unplanned major refurbishment takes place. 

*On December 8th and 9th, the Waterpark will be open and our wave pool will be accessible however, the waves will not operate on this weekend. The great news is that the waves will be back, bigger and better than ever from December 15th following the installation of a NEW wave machine. We can also confirm that a NEW children’s water play feature will open in our Shimmerin Shallows area from December 15th.
