Visit the Pensacola MESS Hall (Math, Engineering, Science and Stuff) and have some fun in the sun at the beach.
Identify a specific skill or body of knowledge he or she will research during daily “genius hour” time.
Engage in daily physical activity at Audubon Park and have weekly swimming days at the Whitney M. Young Memorial Pool.
ABC Camp: 26 letters. 26 days.
Young people ages 4-7 years old are invited to ABC Camp, a NEW 4-week day camp with a focus on early literacy and the arts scheduled for July 10- August 4, 2017 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For the past three years, the Lab has gained much support and participation with Genius Camp, which is geared towards older children. However, many Genius Camp families have younger children who also need access to high-quality, low-cost summer programming.
In ABC Camp, learners will:
Celebrate each letter of the alphabet with daily reading, writing and arts activities.
Continue the celebration on Saturday and Sunday with weekend activity guides that will go home each Friday.
Engage in daily physical activity at Audubon Park and weekly field trips to local attractions including Latter Library, Audubon Zoo and the St. Charles Streetcar.
