Several spaces remain for Math Monday 2016. It is critical that we meet our minimum for Math Monday to continue. Events like Math Monday are what help the Learning Lab meet its mission to offer high-quality, low-cost programs for K-12 students. Please help us spread the word about this awesome program!
Math Monday is a 12-week after-school math program with a focus on problem-solving, study skills, and math enrichment for students in grades 3-7. This would be a great program to recommend to parents and teachers of students who struggle in math class.
Learners will explore mathematics concepts with fun, relevant hands-on activities and technology.
Math Monday lead teacher, Paula Naugle, is a veteran classroom teacher with 40 years of experience and co-author of the book Connecting Your Students with the World.
Student volunteers from Tulane University will provide individualized support and homework help for Math Monday participants.
Fall Session 2016 is on Monday afternoons, September 19 - December 5, 2016, 5-6 p.m., with free homework help at 4-5 p.m. at the Learning Laboratory at 7100 St. Charles Avenue in room #203.
