Thank You For Your Support In 2017
Give Your Tax Deductible Donation

It's All About Love - this season!

THANK YOU for the donations and contributions of your time and money to a good cause; it must be YOUR love and passion for the helpless and those who have limited choices.  They are judged and socially stigmatized for making wrong choices as teenagers or young girls, forced into a life-lifestyle that is detrimental to their health and society; yet, you made it a call to action by ensuring that we carried out our programs, met most of our goals for 2017 and paved the way for sustainable restoration for survivors of trafficking. CONGRATULATIONS, you participated in social change!

As we get engrossed in festivities of this season of love and exchange of gifts - please remember to give, like you have always done, so we may be able to carry out our goals for 2018.

Thank You.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas & a Prosperous New Year!

Edith Okupa
Executive Director

These are the events and programs you helped us to carry out.
  • Presentations to over 200 high school students
  • Increased awareness of the issues around human trafficking
  • Training and education of providers and students
  • Community awareness workshop
  • Help a survivor navigate systems for the provision of other services
  • Participate in conferences and panel of discussants
  • Organize our first Board Strategic Planning Retreat
The highlight of 2017 was a successful Sustainable Restoration Conference where:
  1. We created a platform for a gathering of law-enforcement, prosecution, experts/professionals and service providers to discuss inherent challenges affecting their work.
  2. A panel discussion of 9 professionals on how we as a community can ease the rehabilitation process for survivors and build capacity for sustainable restoration.
  3. We had the then Acting Director of the Human Trafficking Center from the Department of Homeland Security Present on how the Federal government collects data for human trafficking - a key concept that justifies the need for community interventions.
  4. New partnerships were formed as a result of the conference.
Our Plans and Project for 2018
  • In place of our SR Conference, RPI will hold a Workshop in April.
  • Annual Board Strategic Planning Retreat will also take place around April.
  • We continue to hold Presentations and trainings.
  • Our community education series will be held in March and September
Restoration Drop-Off Center will take off by the end of the first quarter of 2018.  In collaboration with other providers, we shall assistance survivors in these areas:
  • Do an initial Needs Assessment
  • Offer Personality & Strength test
  • Provide food and clothing
  • Train Staff, Volunteers & Interns
  • Offer Life Skills Development courses
  • Assist them with navigation of systems

This One-Stop-Shop teaches survivors to navigate systems for social services support that targets capacity building for sustainable restoration. To achieve center goals, we collaborate and partner with like-minded organization.
