March, April & May at Ginger and Lime food studio

What we love to do...

Ginger and Lime provides an exclusive interactive cooking experience, set in a beautiful venue, aimed at foodies and anyone who loves to eat and socialise around food.
Our social and informative cooking classes are great fun and hands on in nature. We prefer an informal free-style approach where our guests participate at various workstations throughout the kitchen; much like being at a friend's house where everyone help to prepare and share a meal together. Some will chop the tomatoes, whilst one stirs the pot and another pours the wine. Guests can get as involved as they choose, and if they prefer just to observe, that is fine with us too. The recipes are presented in a folder on arrival and guests are encouraged to ask questions, take notes (if they wish) while we demonstrate tips, tricks and tasty meals that can inspire their home cooking, and take things to the next level. 
Every week we host different themed evenings; Asian Fusion, Mediterranean and Italian to name but a few. As winter approaches we will dust off our fabulous Curry recipes and showcase curries from different corners of the world. We make anywhere between 6-10 dishes (people leave Ginger and Lime with full hearts and full bellies!) and get everyone involved in the preparation and plating of the food. We also invite top chefs from across the country to host classes and teach us their skills, and are now incorporating international chefs too.
We can accommodate about 20 guests for an interactive evening which is held in our beautiful kitchen for most of the evening, and then move to our elegant dining room for the last course and dessert. The wine and conversation flows as you take part in an evening that will feed not only your body, but also very much your soul.
