Enhanced B5 SUNY/CUNY Early Childhood Workforce Scholarship for Early Childhood Recognition


Would you like to earn a Credential, Certificate, two year,
four year or Graduate degree?

The Enhanced B5 SUNY-CUNY Early Childhood Workforce Scholarship a needs-based scholarship is designed to support those individuals working 20 hours in licensed early childhood programs (center, family, group family). New, returning, and current students are eligible to apply for the scholarship through The New York Early Childhood Professional Development Institute’s Career Development Center in partnership with the Professional Development Program, Rockefeller College, the University of Albany funded by the Birth to 5 grant.

Fall 2021 Sessions

Date: Saturday, November 6th Time: 39:00 am -10:00 am
Date: Monday, November 8th Time: 12:00 pm- 1:00 pm
Date: Tuesday, November 23rd Time: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Date: Wednesday, December 1st Time: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Date: Friday, December 17th Time: 3:00 pm -4:00 pm
All sessions will be held virtually using ZOOM.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Working in a licensed Early Childhood Center 20 hours or more (center, group or family child care)
  • Applying to or attending CUNY-SUNY School- Part-time
  • Commit to meeting with Institute advisors to create and update a Study Plan three times per semester
