Hi <<First Name>>,
Just five weeks until #Fusion20
Hi everyone. Are you getting excited? We are. #Fusion20 is now just over a month away. Seats are filling fast and we’ve now confirmed a massive roster of world class speakers. On top of that, #Fusion20 is great value with affordable conference rates and hotel deals. So, why not come along and ‘Get social. Get inspired. Get ahead.’? We can’t wait to see you.
Fantastic deal on two fantastic Masterclasses
Here’s an opportunity. If you’re coming to #Fusion20, why not take a Masterclass (or two) while you’re here? They’re a terrific way to get ahead, especially given the low, discounted rates that apply for IABC members and affiliated associations until the end of February. So, why not join Julian Mather (Get Video Smart – The Business Video (R)evolution Is Here) and/or Rita Zonius (How to find and build your enterprise social muscles) for what will be a real #Fusion20 highlight?
A full roster of speakers with seven cracking keynotes
A conference, as they say, is only as good as its speakers. And, on that score, #Fusion20 rocks! If you’re serious about your comms, this is a not-to-be-missed lineup.
There are almost 40 speakers in all – senior communicators coming from in-house, agency/consultancy and academia. There are also business leaders and even members of parliament and the public service.
On top of that, we’ve now announced our final keynote: Mahima Shrestha, the Co-Founder & Head of PR, MOP Communications from Nepal and the UK. Mahima will be talking about ‘EARS, HEART, MIND - Communications for a New Decade.’ She joins Gabrielle Dolan, Matt Jones, Angel Scaffidi, Linda Clark, Jo Cribb and Abigail Loveall to round out the keynotes.
You can read more about all our speakers at the #Fusion20 web site. And, if you’d like to get to know a couple of our speakers, check out these videos from Mel Kettle and Trevor Young.
Say ‘kia ora’ to our #Fusion20 partners
We’re excited to announce that three major sponsors have been confirmed. Microsoft has signed on as our Platinum sponsor – a great fit given Rita’s Masterclass mentioned above. Momentum Consulting – one of New Zealand’s leading specialist recruitment consults – is our gold sponsor. Leading digital and brand agency, Bonsey Jaden, is our silver sponsor. With offices all over APAC (and beyond), they have a lot in common with IABC APAC. On top of this, Dan O’Brien Photography and Gosh Creative are generously providing in-kind support to #Fusion20. Thank you very much to the both of you.
Come for the conference. Stay for the cool.
There are a lot of great reasons to come to #Fusion20. There’s a great reason to stay for a bit too. According to IABC Wellington President, Chris Dutton, Wellington is… like… the coolest city ever. It has a vibrant screen industry (you can tour Lord of the Rings filming sites), magnificent views, running and hiking trails and a fantastic craft beer scene. There’s even an awesome party (CubaDupa) invading the streets of Wellington literally the day after #Fusion20 finishes. Check out Chris’ article here.
Needing to build a business case for your trip to #Fusion20?
Do you need to build a business case for attending #Fusion20? If so, we’ve got you covered. Check out the link to the #Fusion20 business case template at the home page of our web site. While you’re there, have a look at the three compelling reasons why you should attend #Fusion20.

“Day 1 of the #IABC #fusion18 Communicators’ Conference done and it was a cracker! Great speakers, great insights and a real challenge of communicators to build trust through leadership, diversity, listening, and good strategy.”
“Fusion is THE communicators’ conference”
