Hello fellow book lovers,

Thank you for subscribing to our newsletter. This one is a bit different.

As we are being encouraged to holiday at home, we want to share with you the town we call home.  Ennis has a history of being a market town and we have many independent shops, boutiques, restaurants, and places to stay.
Below we share some of our favourite things to do in County Clare.

We would also love to hear from you, our readers.

Are you in a book club?  How did you adapt in recent months?  If your book club is interested in featuring in our coming newsletters, please get in touch.  We will do our best to share your book club stories.  And if your book club is meeting up, why not tag us on social media.

What are you reading at the moment?  Is it a new release, an old gem or did you discover something at the festival in March?

At the end of the newsletter is a wonderful video that captured the Ennis Book Club Festival last March.

If you are coming to Ennis, and don't drive, Dublin Coach can drop you off in the town centre and Glynns Coaches are available for private hire.

Having Ennis as your base, you are in the centre of this beautiful county.

You can surf, kayak, visit lighthouses, ramble around the Burren, travel along the River Shannon, or simply relax however you like.

Drive south towards Loop Head, you can start your Wild Atlantic Way journey through the villages, towns, cliffs, and beaches.  This brings you through west Clare and finishes in north Clare.

In north Clare, you have the magic of the Burren to discover old pagan burial sites, beautiful views, and caves.  To the east of the county, you have towns built along the River Shannon and walks like the 12 O'Clock Hills and Moylussa.
