Hi Amanda,

I received lots of feedback on how often you’d like to get my newsletters. You can read the outcome below.

In my newsletter this week:
  • Is weekly too much?
  • Time management reminder
  • Who’s looking at you?
  • Tweet, tweet!
Please do read on....

Is weekly too much?

If you were one of the people who told me how often you wanted to get my newsletters,  thank you - I appreciate it.

The responses were interesting!

Many of you who replied to this newsletter said weekly was fine.

And some of you kindly took the time to expand on that, and tell me what you liked about them, and why you liked getting them.

I asked the same question on social media.

And got a different response.

There, most people said weekly was too much!

So why the difference?

I’m guessing it's because those of you who read my newsletters regularly (i.e. weekly) were the most likely to have opened the ones asking for feedback!

Whereas those who don’t read them obviously didn’t reply.

Overall, the response was slightly in favour of less frequent newsletters.

So I’m going to try it for a couple of months.

And see what happens to my ‘open’ rate.

I was also told that the two column format can be confusing on laptops.

So I’m switching to one column.

Again I’ll trial it, and see what you think.

So please let me know!

  3. Some productivity tips to help keep you on track
Don’t put it off!

Who’s looking at you?

I’m a huge advocate of identifying your IDEAL CLIENT.

This is the person who you most want to help AND who is likely to need or want what you have to offer.

I’ve talked before about how to identify them, and I run workshops on the topic too.

And for now, I’m going to assume you know who they are.

(We’ll come back to this in my next newsletter).

Once you know, there’s one very important thing you should do.

Take a look at your website through your ideal client’s eyes.

And ask yourself this:
  • What do they need to see and hear?
  • What images will resonate with them?
  • What words will they relate to?
  • What tone and style will appeal?
Does your website meet their needs?

If not, maybe it's time for a website refresh.

Tweet, tweet!

Last week I mentioned #Successhour, the weekly Twitter hour that runs from 9-10pm on Tuesdays.

I was chatting about it with a fellow business owner, and she wanted to know more.

I explained that you just head over to Twitter and search for the relevant hashtag.

Then join in by responding to tweets from the host and other participants.

And remember to always include the hashtag at the end of your tweets so that everyone else in the conversation can see them.

There are lots of different Twitter hours. Here’s a useful blog from one of my Twitter friends that gives you some more tips on participating - and some  groups to try:

And courtesy of my friends at #Successhour here’s another list to give you more ideas:

If you’re on Twitter, why not give one a try?

And do say hi to me there too. I’m @AmandaCcoach.
