Dear <<First Name>>,

In 4 weeks time Justene is sleeping over at Freshwater Surf Lifesaving Club for BA and the youth in our community. If you don't have time to join her get behind this amazing community event by supporting her. We’re talking about the Link Housing inaugural fundraising initiative that is Home Sweet 2017 and we need your help to achieve our goal of raising $100,000.

All proceeds of Home Sweet 2017 will support our work here at The Burdekin Association. Our CEO Justene Gordon will sleep over at Freshwater Surf Lifesaving Club on 15th September and invites you to join her, sponsor her or simply donate.

This event is important to us and we would love for everyone to get behind us as much as possible – share our newsletter here, share the profile of the event by sharing this link on social media here and sign up!

Young people across the Northern Beaches are displaced – for a number of reasons – usually through no fault of their own, they’re sleeping in cars or on couches, in overcrowded temporary accommodation that isn’t safe. We estimate that right now on the Northern Beaches there are around 200 young people without a permanent home - it's a conservative estimate as homelessness is a hidden epidemic.

Get behind us to end it by offering security and stability to these youths – support this amazing initiative and be part of something important in your local community – let’s all join forces!

For the most recent tally of support please scroll down! We are doing well but have a way to go!!!!
