Don't forget our AGM is coming up on Monday 16th October, we are looking forward to welcoming you and hearing from The Honorable Robert Stokes. You can still rsvp until Thursday 12th.

All are welcome and no invitation is required but further details about the event are below.

A number of organisations and individuals held fundraising events and made us either sole or part beneficiary.

We are very humbled by the support we have received from you either by driving one such event or supporting it through participation and giving of time and money to help our young people - what we do works, let's continue this wonderful work together as a community!

Read on to find out more about recent activities.

Kind regards

The Burdekin Team!
We are thrilled with the result of the inaugural Home Sweet 2017 event which raised a whopping $120k. What a stellar effort!

In addition, James Griffin MP took part in the Blackmores Running Festival raising money for Burdekin, Soldier On and Heart of Manly. Well done James and thank you so much.

The Mounties Cup raised more than $100,000 and we were one of two beneficiaries. Again, thank you to every body who made this happen. We are very encouraged by the generosity in our neigbourhood.

The Seaforth Arts Festival was also extremely successful, growing from strength to strength each year. We are proud to be associated with it!

We are incredibly proud of everyone who has dedicated their time and money to support our organisation. Up next is the Peninsula Pals Melbourne Cup Luncheon - have you bought your tickets yet? It will be fun, fun, fun all the way!
A final thank you to: Bendigo Bank, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Community Sector Banking and Aqualand, support sponsors include Northern Beaches Council, Nordon Jago, Thomson Geer, Custance and Extendahome. Thank you to Link Housing, the host and organiser of the event for their continued support and the amazing initiative.
