Help us reach more young people this Christmas

This year <<First Name>> we have experienced a year of growth, expanding our program offerings and numbers. Staff have increased from 14 to 41 and our team is diverse with each staff member bringing their professional as well as individual skills to the job.

Over the past year we have directly supported over 320 young people across our core accommodation and support programs.

And we are particularly proud of the growth in our Out of Home Care program, which has grown by 167%! This growth is due to the capacity and commitment of our organisation to accommodate every child or young person that is connected to the Northern Sydney region in a home that provides for their needs and allows them to commence the recovery from their trauma.

<<First Name>>, with that growth we need more funds to keep offering the same quality support that we are so proud of. With your help, we will be able to go the extra mile.

Seaforth Art Show Dinner: Thank you to everyone who supported the Seaforth Art Show banquet dinner and fundraiser. We are gateful for all of your support and hope to have photos from the night soon.
Justene thanks cricket team: Our CEO Justene Gordon recently attended the Manly Warringah Girls Cricket team training session to thank them on behalf of Burdekin for their participation in the Pub2Pub fun run and raising $13,000, read the article here.
Our look and feel: As Burdekin continues to grow and evolve, we thought that our brand should reflect this growth and energy. You might notice that we have kept the original concept but the font and colours are brighter and sharper. We will soon unveil a newlook website which will be more intuitive and userfriendly and reflect the work that we are doing in a more effective way.

Melbourne Cup Thank you to everyone who attended the Peninsula Pals Melbourne Cup Day luncheon. So much fun, great support and huge thanks to everyones effort in raising funds. You can have a look at photos here, see who you can spot - Kylie Ferguson, Michael Reagan, Rob Stokes, James Griffin, Jimmy Wong and Ryan Girdler to name a few. Over $20,000 was raised to help Burdekin, BeCentre Foundation, Lighthouse SMS and Sunnyfield Disability Services.
