"Kicked Out!" Forum on Feb. 23

Last month, Vermont Legal Aid released a report: "Kicked Out! Unfair and Unequal Treatment in Vermont's Schools."

On February 23 at 6:30 p.m., join Just Schools Project, Vermont Legal Aid, Vermonters for Criminal Justice Reform, Vermont Center for Independent Living, and Green Mountain Self-Advocates to learn about the report and discuss what it means for students, families, and schools.

We know the "School-to-Prison Pipeline" is a national reality. The "Kicked Out!" forum is an opportunity for us to ask, "What does 'unfair and unequal' look like in Vermont schools?" And we'll also get to ask, "What are the schools we wish to see?"

The "Kicked Out!" Forum is at the Plainfield Opera House in Plainfield, VT. If you are interested in hosting an event in your Vermont community, get in touch with Just Schools Project or any of the event co-sponsors. We need your voice!
