National Asthma Strategy Stakeholder Survey deadline extended 

After receiving so many informed and passionate responses to our survey, we decided to extend the deadline by a week. This is a rare opportunity for all people effected by asthma to contribute to a plan and directly influence policy. If you haven't already made a submission, you now have until Sunday 8 March to join Australia's asthma community in having your say on how asthma is managed in this country. 

Mould is significant trigger and mould loves floods and cyclones

With flood and cyclone season upon us, a creeping danger for people with asthma and allergies is mould. Weeks after these events have disappeared from the news, this common trigger can have an unexpected and devastating impact. 

Do it for your kids' health – wash the dishes 

Yet another study supporting the 'hygiene hypothesis' has recently provoked a great deal of discussion in the asthma and allergy community. We may love our dishwashers but what if this evidence keeps adding up?

Tobacco plain packaging consultation

The Department of Health is undertaking consultation with stakeholders that have been impacted by tobacco plain packaging and also conducting  a cost benefit analysis. You can contribute to efforts to improve public health by taking part.
