National Asthma Week: are your patients ready for Spring?
It's National Asthma Week and we are calling on healthcare professionals to prepare the millions of Australians with asthma for pollen season.

Australian Pharmacist: Thunderstorm asthma in spring
People who have asthma, hay fever, or both should pro-actively manage their symptoms through spring and early summer.

NAC CEO Siobhan Brophy speaks with Australian Pharmacist about steps pharmacists can take to help people prepare for pollen season and reduce the risk of thunderstorm asthma. 

'When dispensing medicines for hay fever, asthma or both conditions, pharmacists can take the opportunity to counsel patients about managing their airways during pollen season,' says Ms Brophy.
