Coming up this Autumn...

I have been overwhelmed with your kind responses to my newly commissioned work An Additive Mix, currently on show at Bradford's National Media Museum as part of Light Fantastic. The exhibition continues until the 1 November, so if you're planning a trip to see it, you haven't got long left!

In other news, I have recently been chosen to receive one of the RBS Bursary Awards 2015. I will be taking part in the Sculpture Slam talks at the Royal British Society of Sculptors, London on 30 September. Also, I am delighted that Your Colour Perception has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Best Light Art Installation catagory for the inaugural Darc Awards taking place in London this week.

Over the next few months there will be several opportunities to see and experience my work or come along to one of my artist talks. Below I have listed a few upcoming opportunities that you may be interested in.

Liz will be unveiling a brand new major public realm commission for Spinnigfields at a Concept Launch in conjunction with this years Manchester Contemporary / Buy Art Fair on 25 September. Through No.3 is a new outdoor installation in partnership with Castlefield Gallery and Spinningfields.
If you missed the vibrant Your Colour Perception installation at Federation House, Manchester in January, here's another chance to see it! The work will be installed for one night only at The Crypt at Leeds Town Hall as part of Light Night Leeds 2015 on 9 October between 6-11pm. Don't miss it!
For this years Manchester Science Festival Salford University's Allerton Studios will be transformed by Liz into a sensory, visceral experience through an overload of artificial chromatic light. The installation will testing the psychological, physical, emotional and spiritual responses of visitors within the yellow-green-blue part of the spectrum. Runs from 22 until 31 October.

Liz will be giving an artist talk on 21 October at the Allerton Building at 10.30am.
Liz's forthcoming solo exhibition The Light Room in Basingstoke is an adaptation of the acclaimed Your Colour Perception and will incorporate the whole of The Willis Museum's Sainsbury Gallery. Liz will transform the space into a site specific immersive light installation, creating the magical effect of walking through a rainbow.

Exhibition runs from 7 November until 2 January 2016.

Liz presents site-specific light-based installations and brand new works on paper as part of solo exhibition Coloured Interval at Salfords Tutor mansion Orsdall Hall. Opening on the 27 September and continuing until 31 January 2016.

Coloured Interval has been produced as a result of a dedicated period of studio-based research and development. Works on paper will be exhibited in the Egerton Gallery complimenting site-specific installations in the attic space. There will be an artist talk on 18 October.

Responding to the archive and object collections Liz has curated a unique exhibition of artifacts and in addition is making a new site-specific installation exploring the themes of colour and light at Bury Art Museum.

The exhibition opens on 9 October and continues until 27 February 2016, coinciding perfectly with this years Bury Light Night. Come along to hear an artist talk on 17 October.
Liz is based at Rogue Artist's Studios in Manchester. This year Rogue is celebrating its milestone 20th Birthday with its annual Open Studios on 23 October (6-9pm) and 24 and 25 October (12-5pm).
A hub of over 100 visual artists, Rogue once again flings open its doors, inviting visitors to come and explore the artists’ spaces.
