Welcome to the First AICUO Affiliate Member Newsletter
With the new year, AICUO has launched a new program – affiliate members. These new members of the AICUO family are select vendors, consultants and service providers. AICUO is seeking out the best vendors who are already working with at least one member campus and pulling them together to save time and resources for member campuses. After a screening and application process, the most trusted are invited to become AICUO affiliate members.
This newsletter is just one component of the new program. Each month, affiliate members will showcase their knowledge of current campus concerns via newsletter. We hope you find this sharing of information as informative as we have found gathering it.
In addition to the newsletter, Affiliate Members are being utilized in several other endeavors:
- Affiliates and their services are listed on the AICUO website.
- Affiliates will offer professional development opportunities for campus staff (see the story on Title IX below for the first example of this).
- An affiliate member conference, bringing together campus staff and affiliate members for a day of educational seminars, networking opportunities, and a vendor fair, will be held mid-summer in the Columbus area .
We are excited to launch this program with a great initial class of affiliate members. We hope you will help us continue to grow the program.
