Marc Ira, Co-Founder of Talino EV Management Systems sent a recent update.

TalinoEV was recently featured in TechInAsia: Battery startup finds clever way to make electric vehicles cheaper for emerging markets

"TalinoEV's  technology is called Smart Lithium-ion Battery packs. Like Intel Inside, we put computer brains in an electric vehicle (EV), making it a cloud-connected node in our mobile transportation platform.

TalinoEV Co-Founders Marc Ira and Henry Abreau.

Our (U.S. and global) patents allow electric vehicles to be used on a pre-pay/ pay-per-use basis. And thus cost as cheap to purchase as gasoline vehicles. And even cheaper to operate.

The Smart Lithium Ion Battery Packs are used to give world-class, leading-edge electric vehicle  technology (just like Tesla) to the millions of e-tricycles, ejeeps and electric scooters used as basic transportation in global emerging markets. We are working towards a world where all gasoline motorcycles are eliminated in favor of EVs."

Gary Hopkins, Co-Founder of Storm Water Systems, reports that "Ocean Exchange played an important role in getting exposure for Bandalong."

Storm Water Systems recently installed a Bandalong Litter Trap in Lafayette, Louisiana to protect Bayou Vermilion from tons of trash entering the Bayou every year during rain events. The trap was installed in Coulee Mine Branch which is a tributary of the Vermilion River which drains into the Gulf of Mexico.

Bayou Vermilion Is a natural and cultural resource for Lafayette Parish which offers recreation such as kayaking, canoeing and sport fishing as well as history and cultural preservation.

The installation of the Bandalong Litter Trap is the first in Louisiana which is a unique clean water partnership between Lafayette Consolidated Government and Bayou Vermilion District.

Upcoming Bandalong Litter Trap installations are scheduled for this summer in Mobile, Alabama, Huntington Beach California, and Washington, DC.
