False Christs and False Prophets

We are living in interesting times. There are so many bizarre theories and speculations that people are proclaiming that it can be difficult to determine what is truth and what is false. Jesus actually warned us in the Bible about false christs and false prophets. Jesus said in Matthew 24:23-25: Then if anyone says to you, “Look, here is the Christ!” or “There!” do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.
I want to help you be able to recognize a false christ or false prophet by looking at seven points from the Bible. Seven ways to help you avoid being deceived by a false christ or false prophet include: 1) Who is receiving the glory of what happens in a person’s life? God or the individual (Matthew 15:29-31)? 2) Exercise your spiritual gift called, discerning of spirits (1 Corinthians 12:10). 3) Find out if a person confesses, “Jesus Christ has come in the flesh” (1 John 4:1-3). 4) Find out if a person confesses Jesus Christ as Lord (1 Corinthians 12:3). 5) Observe the fruit a person is bearing (Luke 6:43-45). 6) Determine if a person abides in the doctrine of Christ (2 John 1:9-11). 7) Does the person testify of Jesus Christ, because the Holy Spirit always testifies of Jesus (John 15:26)?
I hope this helps you to determine between truth from untruth, and recognize a false christ or false prophet.

 The Unknown

How do I know something unless I search it out, rely on my past experiences, or its revealed to me...? I'm looking out into the future and wondering what is going to happen...? In the natural that could be scary, unless you're really brave. Many look at everything with an optimistic attitude, yet some choose not to look at what's taking place around them, and medicate themselves in some way or manner!
It can be a suddenly, or it can be drawn out. Thanks be to God, that He gives us a future and a hope, plans for good and not for harm! (Jeremiah 29:11) Yea and Amen to that! I choose to look to God for my Future and for my Hope, because He is for me, and not against me... He alone is my medication, my peace, my comfort, and where my heart should be! He has a solution for everything! He knows everything! And...He is in charge of everything!
So, when I have those doubtful days, I look up, and remember who I am...a child of the Most High God, whose identity resonates within my spirit... I am His, and He is my Dad and my God... That to me...gives me peace that surpasses all understanding...
