Ice Cream Peanut Butter and Jam!

Union Park District Council would like to thank all the volunteers, Vendors, Silent Auction Donators, Exhibitors and Community Members for making the 7th Annual Ice Cream Peanut Butter and Jam a huge success! this wouldn't have been possible without us all coming together and showing what the Union Park Community is all about.  The musical acts were superb, the ice cream could barely keep up with the appetites and thanks to neighbors we donated more peanut butter than you can eat in a year to Keystone Community Services.

We had a blast putting this fun community event together and We hope you had a blast too!

Lower Speed Limits for Saint Paul

The City of Saint Paul Public Works department is analyzing appropriate speed limits on city-owned streets. Saint Paul anticipates lowering limits on streets under the cities jurisdiction.  Slower speeds on our streets make travel safer for everyone no matter how they get around. Lower traffic speeds reduce the likelihood of a crash and make a crash less likely to lead to death or a life-changing injury.

These studies are expected to be completed the first quarter of 2020. Implementation of new speed limits is expected to begin in the spring of 2020.

The city will hold an information session on speed limits on Wednesday, Oct. 3 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Rondo Community Library, 461 N. Dale.
