Hello Friend!

In this month's newsletter:
II Unveiling 'Seven' Soon II
II Perseverance Fulfillment Update Recap II
II New Team Member at Mindclash Games II

Almost in the blink of an eye, the first month of spring has arrived and although we are working hard on several projects in the background, we only have a couple of announcements in this newsletter - but those are all very intriguing!

Let's dive into the news for March!

First of all, the most exciting piece of news: we are inviting you to take part in a bit of an investigation, the clues to which some of you may have noticed already, but might not have gotten the gist of until now.

What you know already is that we've been working on a project called 'Seven' for a while. You can follow its progress on the project development charts at the bottom of the monthly newsletters, and we are very close to unveiling it - we will announce it as our first game title for 2022 in a special edition newsletter in mid-April! As we did before with Voidfall, we hid small hints - four in total - about the game's theme in posts published on our social media platforms. We wouldn't want to spoil them right away, so if you like easter egg hunts, you can discover and solve the puzzle yourself!

From now on, we'll make a tradition of leaving crumbs from each new game we release, so you might want to keep an eye on the images we post on Facebook and Instagram!

Perseverance has reached a really exciting stage: fulfillment started in multiple regions! We were overwhelmed by the first photos of the game received on Instagram (and special thanks to those of you who reached out to us in email or on any other platform to let us know how happy you are to have received your games - it means a lot to us!), and by the time you read these lines, all backers in Australia, New Zealand and China should have received their parcels, while deliveries are ongoing in other Asian countries and in the USA. Let's rejoice together with some pictures of the arrivals:

We are also happy to see that many of you reviewed Perseverance on BoardGameGeek. If you have already got your copy and had time to try the game, we'd love to hear your feedback, whether it’s a simple rating or a few sentences about your experience!

We are truly hopeful that backers in Canada, Europe and the Rest of the World will be able to get their hands on Perseverance soon. The ship bound for Canada has docked in Vancouver after a brief stopover, where the games will be put on a train heading to Toronto. In Europe, both ships made it through the turmoil in Rotterdam; one is docked in Hamburg and is expected to continue its journey to Gdynia soon, while the other is headed to Hamburg and is scheduled to arrive there on Sunday.

We are closing in on the end of this adventure. Thank you for persevering with us so far and for your patience!

This was yet another joyful event in our team’s life inMarch! At the beginning of the month, a wonderful person joined our little company as we welcomed Robert Pratt as an official member of the Mindclash Games team! You might have met him already if you visited our booth at Essen or GenCon, or asked a question about one of our games on BGG or Discord Let us introduce him now in a few lines:
"Hello everyone, I’m Robert, though many of you might know me as “thevillagetuba” on BGG. My wife and I have worked closely with Mindclash with the editing of their rulebooks, helped with their Kickstarter campaigns, and demoed at their booth at Spiel and GenCon. Anachrony was the first Kickstarter project we backed and the game that really got me interested in the hobby. Outside of all of this, I am a classically trained musician, with my main instruments being the tuba and trombone; recently completed a degree in Programming and Development (Software Engineering); and work in the department of Online Learning and Academic Technology at Cuyahoga Community College, where I work to help resolve student and faculty issues with our online course tools and develop/improve the online learning environment and experience with the rest of the department.

I am unbelievably excited to take on this role with Mindclash and hope that I get the chance to meet, or see again, everyone at the next convention/event/BGG post that we are at. Happy Gaming!"

We hope you'll be able to meet Robert in person this year - he'll represent us at the Origins Game Fair between 8-12 June, and as in previous years, he'll be joining us at GenCon and Essen.

So we have reached the end of this quite short but exciting newsletter. We hope you are just as excited about our title announcement as we are. Stay tuned in April!

Take care.
