Hello Friend!

In this month's newsletter:
II Septima Update Recap II
 Astra Second Print II
Looking Back at 2022 II

Both in term of game development and component sampling, Septima is getting very close to the finish line!

Just before we left for our end-of-year holiday, we received a package of the latest round of metal Wisdom Coins, silkscreened wooden tokens and tracker samples from our manufacturing partner.
We also briefly covered the last steps of the development progress, and fully updated Septima on Tabletop Simulator to the latest version. If you'd like to check out the close-to-final ruleset and all the dev changes since the Kickstarter campaign, read our latest update below, or head over to TTS and give Septima a try!

Astra's first print run has been tremendously successful, and the second one is already on its way, scheduled to arrive in Q1 2023.

If you live in the UK, you won't have to wait much longer for Astra - this print run will be available there as well. The Spanish (from Maldito Games) and the French (from Super Meeple) editions are also part of this shipment and will be available soon. The night sky awaits!

2022 has been an amazing year for us at Mindclash Games. We have achieved many milestones and broke a lot of new ground together this year, and we would like to share these memories as we approach the end of the year.

  • In April, Septima became our most-backed game on Kickstarter thanks to 12959 wonderful backers! We are incredibly proud of and excited for Septima as we work on the finishing touches, and can't wait to get it to your table next year!
  • By the end of May, the Perseverance Episode 1-2 project reached its final milestone as all the copies arrived to the backers. So far, this has been the most ambitious game we've released, both in terms of game design and production, and while Voidfall is a strong contender for this title, we look back at the story of our shipwreck survivors with pride and joy as we're in the thick of the work on the next Episodes. You will certainly hear more about Perseverance next year!
  • GenCon Indy, Origins, Essen SPIEL, PAX Unplugged - this was our year in major gaming events. Our demo team represented us at more conventions than ever, and it was a blast meeting you at all of them! This was our very first (but not the last!) time at Origins and PAX, and in Essen we were hosting 9 demo tables on a booth almost twice as large as last time.
  • Essen also was the place for the debut of our very first straight-to-retail title, Astra! With it, we launched our new, more accessible sub-brand, Mindclash Play, which had a fantastic reception. The next Mindclash Play game is already in the works, and we are excited to announce it next year!
  • Early this year we fully revamped our webshop with a cleaner look, and introduced a new product category, the enamel-painted metal pins for our game worlds. We also launched the Cerebria tutorial together with Dized. The improvements to our online presence don't end here, though - we have big plans for next year as well!
  • Finally, this year our team continued to grow as we welcomed two new colleagues: Robert for sales and convention representation, and Réka for customer service. We also moved to a new office yet again, finally settled in for the long term!

Wrapping up this wonderful year with the photo of our team taken at our Christmas party, once again we want to thank you for all the support and kindness you have shown us! Now we're off to relax a bit and recharge with board games and positive energy with our family.

We wish you all a happy holiday season, and hope you'll join us for an exciting new year!
