Join us for our inaugural Alumni Reuion!

Hello, Newman alumni!

For me, Newman was the grounding force in my college years where I forged some amazing friendships and grew into an adult relationship with God. I imagine you may have similar reasons to have fond memories of Newman. Wouldn't it be great to reconnect with people from your days at Newman, and meet other generations of "Newmanites" who have their own unique stories?

The good news for you is that the Alumni Association is coordinating an event for just that purpose! I would like to invite you and your families to attend the Inaugural Newman Alumni Reunion coming up in a few weeks on Saturday, April 29 from noon-4pm. It's going to be a low-key, open-house-style get-together at my home in Columbia, Missouri with a BBQ potluck, time to chat, and plenty of space for kids to run around. While it may be a bit of a drive for those of you not in Columbia, I encourage you to invest the day and drive out. Come and go as you need to and, if you're still in town in the evening, we'll head to Saturday night mass and dinner. Come for some or all of the day --whatever works best for you! I hope to see you there!

Q: What advice would you give to present-day Newmanites?

A: Take the time to connect with people. Make coffee dates. Stay up late talking about life and God with your roommates. Go on a walk around campus. You’re not going to remember what you got on your English midterm, but you will remember the time you spend with the people you love.
